Kong romantic, drama film, ‘In the Mood for Love’ directed by Wong Kar Wai and
was written and produced by this same person at the same time.

The film ‘In the Mood for Love’
set place in Hong Kong in the 1960s. It revolves around two persons of two
couples, both Mr. Chow and Mrs. Chan who moved into the same building becoming
neighbours on the same day. As their respective spouses always told them they
had to work late, both Mr. Chow and Mrs. Chan spent their time in their house filling
with loneliness. After discovering their spouses having an affair, they tested
each other only to find out the other had known what was happening. Feeling
extremely lonely and hurt after the truth was being confirmed, the two came
together analysing the way how their spouses got together, reproducing the
scenes they imagined in their minds of both their husband and wife. Mr. Chow
and Mrs. Chan were curious to find out the ways possible making their spouses
falling for each other, saying they would stayed as friends not being like
‘them’. Eventually, they fell in love with each other in the process, which
lead them to part ways leaving for different lives afterwards. Both of them
ended up being alone, while surprisingly Mrs. Chan later having a son.
